    Undocumented OFWs troop to Philippine Consulate

    JEDDAH — A large number of undocumented Filipino workers trooped to the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah and set up a make-shift tent in a vacant lot beside the mission to push their demand for immediate repatriation.

    OFW voting in Jeddah on Tuesday

    Filipino expats in Jeddah will begin casting ballots at their mission beginning Tuesday. The absentee balloting was to take place in Jeddah today but was delayed due to technical reasons. At other venues in the Kingdom, such as Riyadh, the voting will take place as scheduled today.

    Hacktivists deface PHL Embassy website in Bahrain over OFW death

    Hacktivists on Saturday defaced the website of the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain, following the death of an overseas Filipino worker there. As of 5 a.m. Saturday, visitors to the site of the Philippine embassy in Bahrain were greeted with a popup box with the message "Justice for Kathleen Ann Ilagan!"

    Family wants justice for OFW who died in UAE

    MANILA - The body of an overseas Filipina worker who allegedly committed suicide in Abu Dhabi will be laid to rest on Wednesday in her hometown in Laguna. Alona Bagayan was found dead on February 5, 2013, just days after her arrival in Abu Dhabi.
